Brian Trey Smith, also known as, Trey Smith (January 8, 1977 – Present) is a recognized Colorado author that is best known for his spiritual letter series, God in a Nutshell, as well as, Coors: the true story of Elmer Werth. Trey Smith got the first start in his writing career when he met Elmer Werth, a Vice President and Board of Director of the Coors Brewing Company, while shoveling snow.

Career

Smith moved to Denver in 2009. His first book was contracted by Elmer Werth, a retired executive of the Coors Brewing Company, and took three months to produce. However, during the writing of Coors: the story of Elmer Werth, a letter Trey Smith had written called God in a Nutshell took on local Christian radio attention and the spawn of a series.
